Red Sea Global has entered into a 25-year concession agreement with EDF and Masdar to design, build, and operate the power and water infrastructure for the luxury resort destination, Amaala, situated on the Red Sea coast in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Henakiyah
EDF Renewables, Masdar, and Nesma Company have secured the development of the Al Henakiyah solar power plant, a groundbreaking 1,100 MW project in the province of Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The consortium, chosen for its highly competitive offer, signed a Power Purchase Agreement with Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC).
Taiba 2 & Qassim 2 Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT)
EDF, along with Al Jomaih Energy and Water Co. Ltd. (JENWA) and Buhur for Investment Company, have signed Power Purchase Agreements with The Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC) for the Taiba 2 and Qassim 2 Conventional Independent Power Producer projects in Saudi Arabia. The consortium will develop the 2 x 1,800 MW decarbonised Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) projects.
Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City District Cooling Plant (Misk DCP)
Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City has appointed Dalkia, the EDF's energy services arm, to implement the highest standards of sustainability solutions at the newly launched destination. As part of the City’s vision to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification, several sustainability initiatives will be rolled out across the development, commencing with a district cooling plant to be built by Dalkia and its partner ADC Energy Systems.
